Building Self Awareness, Independence and Confidence
What does it mean to be a global citizen at 13? It means starting to see the world through a broader lens, learning to lead with empathy, understanding different perspectives, and recognizing how your actions influence your community and beyond. During our Global Citizenship Program, students engage in a dynamic mix of experiential, play-based, and values-driven learning. This immersive program provides a safe, supportive environment where curiosity is welcomed, creativity is fostered, and every student feels recognized and valued. Outdoor adventures, interactive group activities, and hands-on experiences help participants explore important concepts like inclusion, sustainability, cultural awareness, and collaboration in ways that are enjoyable and deeply meaningful.
A key part of the program includes visits to Canadian partner schools, including IB World Schools where students connect with local peers, explore new learning environments, and develop real-world connections. These genuine school exchanges give students an insight into different educational settings and encourage meaningful cultural exchange from an early age.
Throughout the journey, guided discussions and moments of self-reflection assist students in developing fundamental personal and interpersonal skills, such as confidence, independence, and self-awareness. We emphasize core leadership values like kindness, responsibility, and thoughtful action, through lived experience. By nurturing respect for each other and the natural environment, this program helps young people begin to find their unique place in a global community.
